🌎 Earth's Layers

This app helps you learn everything on your Earth's Layers study sheet: the diagram, the numbers, and the facts. Use the buttons at the top.

Learn
Tap any layer to see its facts. Check "Hide the names and numbers" to test yourself: say each answer out loud, then uncheck the box to see if you were right.
Label it
The diagram starts empty. A box or layer glows yellow. Tap the right answer in the word bank. Answer them all to fill in the whole diagram: the layer names, how thick each layer is, and the temperatures.
Facts
Questions about each layer, like "Which layer is liquid?" Tap your answer from the word bank. If you miss one, the app shows you the facts for that layer.
Spelling ★ (the hard one!)
Type the answer. Spelling counts, but capital letters don't. If you misspell a word, the app shows the right spelling with the wrong letters in red. Type it correctly to keep going.
Stars
Get a question right on the first try and you earn a star ⭐. Miss it and you lose one. 3 stars means you've mastered it! The app asks the ones you know least first.

A good way to study

  1. Learn: read every layer from top to bottom.
  2. Label it until you can fill in the whole diagram.
  3. Facts: do a few rounds.
  4. Ready for a challenge? Try Spelling ★.
  5. Print the blank diagram (on the Learn screen) and fill it in on paper.

A little practice each day works better than a lot the night before. You've got this! 💪
